MonitorClosely.com Digital Surveillance Systems with corporate offices in Cincinnati, Ohio has opened 23 franchise locations of its home-based business.
The company began selling franchises in early May of this year and already has tripled its original projection of opening 20 locations in its first year. Franchisees market, sell, install, and service state-of-the art digital surveillance systems for commercial and residential use. With the recent advancements in digital technology, the quality of surveillance systems has significantly increased while the cost of equipment has continued to decrease. Today’s systems are so advanced that with hi-speed internet service it’s possible to monitor surveillance cameras from anywhere in the World at anytime. The customer base, for the company’s franchisees, appears to be unlimited and includes; day care centers, private schools, assisted living facilities, retail businesses, apartment complexes, office buildings, multi-unit fast food restaurants, hotels, banks, and private residences.
For those individuals looking to be in control of their own destiny and achieve financial independence, this franchise offers a relatively simple “turn-key” operation with low capital requirements in a fast growth industry. The company is committed to maintaining its professional image and plans to be extremely careful in its selection of initial franchisees. In 1997, Thomas Wein, the company’s President helped develop another Cincinnati-based national franchise company HH Franchising Systems, Inc., the parent company of Home Helpers. Home Helpers is a highly successful non-medical home care company with over 500 offices nationwide.
“Our franchisees are doing extremely well as people continue to be more and more sensitive to security concerns” said Wein. “Our dynamic marketing programs will allow our franchisees to compete favorably with other national companies and the many mom & pop operators out there” he added. Wein has assembled a strong management team, which includes 8 employees at the corporate office.
In addition to selling the digital surveillance systems, MonitorClosely.com franchisees offer a very affordable internet-based service, through the company’s host website, that allows customers to remotely view their surveillance cameras. For example, a daycare center can advertise, as an added service, viewing of their customers’ children via the internet so that a working mother can watch her baby sleeping, eating, or playing. The daycare center will then have a competitive advantage by featuring this service along with enhanced security with digital recording, better employee productivity, and a very strong deterrent for inappropriate behavior.
Denise Donahue, Senior Vice President of Marketing, said the company is receiving over 150 inquires a week from individuals interested in acquiring a franchise. “Now that the company’s national media campaign is in full swing, we are scheduling between 25 and 30 franchise sales presentations every month”, she said. “This concept has attracted a lot of interest because it is not labor intensive and requires very little start-up costs”, she added. MonitorClosely.com’s 5-year growth plan is to open 250 offices around the USA and Canada.
Atlantic City Franchise Off and Running with Rich History
On staff with owner Steve Busch, at the MonitorClosely.com Atlantic City location, is his father George Busch. George has 14 years experience with the Philadelphia Police Department as a Detective in the Crime Lab Intelligence Unit and 23 years experience in the Gaming industry, 12 of which were served as a Director of Surveillance with Trump International. George was also in charge of the pre-opening surveillance equipment selection and installation at the Mystic Lake Casino in Minnesota, and at the world’s largest Casino, Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. He has coordinated with Federal and State authorities on Casino crimes, and has analyzed tapes for federal government cases and instructed the FBI academy in Virginia on crimes at Indian reservations.
During his time with Mystic Lake Casino, George coordinated the installation of the 1st speed-dome cameras to be installed in any Casino. This progressive move played an integral part in the development of high-speed domes within the Casino industry and made front-page headlines in the national publication Security in September 1993. While at Mystic Lake George had 350 Security & Surveillance officers under his direction and supervision and was responsible for all internal and external investigations.
George’s experience in the surveillance industry played an integral part in the selection of MonitorClosely.com as a franchise and obviously speaks well of the franchise program that the Company has developed. “We are honored to have George Busch as a part of the Atlantic City Franchisee's team” said Donahue, “and look forward to much future success with their location”.
