Mr. Brooks is a graduate of the University of North Carolina.  After graduation he spent 18 years with International Paper and Georgia Pacific in the areas of packaging and distribution.  He then started Roanoke Paper and Packaging and owned it for 3 years.   He resides in Roanoke, with his wife and two step-daughters, Holly age 16 and Erica, age 14.  He enjoys college sports and hunting waterfowl.
