Navis Pack & Ship Awards Key Chicago Area Territory to Experienced Business Professional

Greenwood Village, CO Navis Pack & Ship has awarded the franchise territory for Aurora, IL, to George Tourville, an experienced management professional. His unit will be the fourth Navis Pack & Ship operating in the Chicago area and the 71st in North America.

For the past 12 years, Tourville has been chief administrator of a cardiology practice of 14 physicians in nearby Rockford, IL. With experience managing accounting, financial reporting, accounts receivable, marketing, information systems and human resources for 100 employees, he is well-qualified to step into business ownership.

Navis met everything that Tourville was seeking in his own business, he said, including the opportunity to stay in the Chicago area, a small number of employees to manage and a unique and interesting business that “isn’t on every other corner.” Navis Pack & Ship also provided an opportunity for Tourville to work with his son, Anthony Tourville Jr., who plans to join the business as outside sales representative.

The Aurora, IL, territory stretches south to Joliet and west to Dekalb. Its well-developed transportation infrastructure and diverse, rapidly growing economy are ideal for the Navis Pack & Ship business model.

Tourville spoke with twelve current franchise operators during due diligence. “I needed to know if I could meet my income goals in this business, and I wanted to find out what Navis is like to work with as an organization. Only the franchisees could answer these questions, and the information they provided played a huge role in my decision to go with Navis.”
