Navis Pack & Ship Opens Second Florida Unit Serving Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood![]() Posted on November 27, 2007 by Bill Dube
Ft. Lauderdale Navis Pack & Ship has opened its second location in Florida to serve the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood metro area south to the Miami-Dade County line. Three other new Navis Pack & Ship units will open by the end of the year in Northern California, Southern California and Toronto, as Navis continues its aggressive drive to complete a network of 260 locations across the United States and 30 in Canada in four years. Leo and Lisa Denlea are the new franchise operators in Florida. Experienced business owners, the Denleas were drawn to Navis Pack & Ship for its business-to-business orientation. Previously they owned a steel rule die manufacturing company and a silver resale business. Their warehouse is located in a new, hurricane-proof warehouse complex, just north of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Known as the “yachting capital of the world,” Ft. Lauderdale has many maritime-related industries and is served both by a major international airport and ocean port. The area also is a major destination for snow-birds and retirees, all key target customers for Navis Pack & Ship’s “small move” services. Navis Pack & Ship is aggressively recruiting for its remaining open territories in Florida, including eight in Southeast Florida, six in Southwest Florida, three in Central Florida and one each in Jacksonville and Pensacola. About Navis Pack & Ship Navis Pack & Ship is a business-to-business, warehouse-based franchise opportunity that specializes in packaging, crating, transportation, and logistics services for items that are difficult to ship. The company’s diverse clientele ranges from art galleries, auction houses, estate settlement professionals and interior designers, to companies that need to move electronic equipment and machinery. Navis also serves residential consumers who are moving furniture, art or household goods, but have less than a mover’s minimum load. Navis ships across the country and internationally. Franchise operators receive extensive training in handling fragile, large, awkward and valuable goods, assistance in warehouse site selection and build-out, and support with marketing, sales, operations, technology and hiring employees. Navis Pack & Ship has clusters of territories available in several major markets, including Los Angeles, New York City, Boston, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
