Team Determination leads to 29th at Las Vegas

Team Determination allowed DJ Kennington and the MacDonald Motorsports team finish with their heads held high after the Sam’s Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

"We had an O.K. qualifying car but a great race car prepared for this race.  It's just too bad we never got a chance to show it before we got hit", stated DJ Kennington driver of the #81 Northern Provincial Pipeline, MC2 Energy Drink Dodge.

"We slowed up under caution on lap 2 only to get plowed in the rear.  Then we got the car repaired only to blow a right front and cause more damage all before lap 50."

The team worked hard to keep Kennington in the race as competitors fell to the wayside.

"This was a moral victory for this team and proof that we are as competitive as any in this series.  With any luck we will show everyone just how good we are."

The team heads to Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Nicorette 300 on Saturday.
