Posted on May 03, 2007 by

Randy and Becky White, local owner operators of NiteLites of Sarasota recently helped sponsor the event ‘Tropical Nights’ which was held at the home of Darrel and Mary Ann Turner of Turner Tree and Landscape.  The proceeds from this event went to the area Meals On Wheels Program.

Tropical Nights is an annual event and the largest fundraiser of the year for the area’s Meals On Wheels Program.  The evening included tropical cocktails, a Hawaiian Luau, hula dancing, and a silent auction.  Outdoor lighting company, NiteLites of Sarasota sponsored a significant discount towards a lighting system that wias auctioned off in the silent auction during the event which was held on Saturday, April 21, 2007.

Since 1972, Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee has provided nutritional assistance and supportive services to individuals in their homes or in centers throughout Manatee County.  Where there is a need, Meals on Wheels PLUS makes it a goal to fill that need.  The organization has continued to add essential services such as health monitoring, adult day center, outreach services and more.  Although some of their operating funds come from local and federal government, over 60 percent of the funds needed are raised through donations, grants, and fund raising projects.

The Whites and their family are active in the Sarasota / Bradenton community and surrounding areas.  Ms. White explained, “We love to give to worthy local charities and we feel fortunate to be able to participate in fundraising events like ‘Tropical Nights’ for Meals on Wheels.” The owners of NiteLites of Sarasota are also active in the following local professional associations: HBA of Manatee www.hbamanatee.org,   HBA of Sarasota www.buildingsarasota.com, Chamber of Commerce Manatee www.manateechamber.com,  the National Association of Home Builders www.nahb.org, and the CBC Networking Group http://www.florida-connection.com.

NiteLites of Sarasota / Bradenton is locally owned and operated by Randy and Becky White. Landscape lighting systems are becoming increasingly more popular and the demand for professionally designed and installed landscape lighting systems is growing dramatically.  A landscape lighting system offers several benefits to both homeowners and commercial developments.  An outdoor lighting system is a smart investment which will increase the value and resale of your home or property.  But, perhaps the most important benefit is the Safety and Security a landscape lighting system provides.

NiteLites Outdoor Lighting Systems provide the latest cutting edge technology, custom design, professional installation and worry free maintenance. With an unmatched warranty, NiteLites provides non-corrosive specification grade exterior low voltage solid brass and copper lighting fixtures.  Additionally, NiteLites offers by far the most convenient lighting automation on the market.
