Play N Trade Franchise "Games for Grades" Promotion Recognizes Academic Excellence and Donates to Local Schools![]() Posted on June 07, 2007 by Select Franchises Across the U.S., Puerto Rico and Guam Participate NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., – Play N Trade Franchise, Inc., one of the fastest-growing franchises worldwide, today announced the launch of its “Games for Grades” promotion designed to encourage responsible video game playing and provide financial support for local schools by franchises* across the U.S., Puerto Rico and Guam. “We pride ourselves on being good corporate citizens and building strong, positive relationships within the community and this program demonstrates our commitment,” said Yuvi Shmul, CEO of Play N Trade. “The ‘Games for Grades’ promotion encourages students to do well in their studies and enables participating Play N Trade stores to make donations that will assist their local schools in continuing to provide high-quality educational programs.” Under the “Games for Grades” promotion, students receive a 10 percent discount on any used video game for each “A” on their report card, and their school will receive a 10 percent donation of the retail price. Payments will be made monthly based upon the previous month’s sales. Students of all ages may participate in the program, with each student receiving up to four 10 percent discounts per semester. Report cards must be presented, and in some cases, a valid school or other picture ID may be required. “This program is a great way for our franchisees to work with local schools to recognize students who set a good example for others to follow, and we look forward to achieving great success,” Shmul said.
