Vetfran, a national program designed to help military veterans become franchise owners, involves the pooled efforts of Roni Deutch Tax Center and other franchise companies who have agreed to offer financial incentives to bring veterans into their franchise systems. VetFran offers incentives to former military personnel to help them shift from military to self-employment, including reduced initial fees to waived training costs. "As a military veteran, I am humbled to learn of national programs established to provide financial incentives to those who served our country,” said David Bailey, the first Vetfran franchisee of the Roni Deutch Tax Center franchise. “The Roni Deutch Tax Center did everything in their power to help me achieve a dream of owning my own business, so now I am ready to do all in my power to help the American taxpayer in the greater Salisbury, NC area receive the most competent, professional tax return preparation.” As one of more than 180 franchise companies participating in the VetFran program since it was launched during the Gulf War, RDTC is offering veterans a $5,000 discount to become a RDTC franchisee. The U.S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Veterans Corporation have all endorsed the VetFran program. “As IFA members, Roni Deutch Tax Center fully endorses the IFA’s effort to express patriotic gratitude,” said Roni Deutch, CEO and founder of RDTC. “We’re committed to thanking veterans once again for their dedication to our country and preserving our way of life, embodied by the franchising model.
