Retail Outlet Franchise Names Executive Team, Prepares for Nationwide Launch

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. – Sandström OnTV Company™ (TSHO.PK) announced today the opening of its worldwide corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz. in preparation for its nationwide retail franchise launch and its executive team.

The headquarters will be home to Sandström’s executive team and its “As Seen University,” the company’s national training headquarters where new franchisees will receive company training. Slated to open 150 stores in the domestic U.S. market over the next three years, Sandström will launch its nationwide franchise rollout plan in the coming weeks. Sandström is a new retail outlet franchise that takes a fresh, stylish and innovative approach to “As Seen on TV” merchandise. Bringing the most celebrated products sold on TV to customers’ fingertips, Sandström will offer practical everyday-use products within contemporary, pop impresario-designed stores.

“We are looking forward to introducing the Sandström brand and growing our headquarters in Scottsdale,” said Tim McCarthy, vice president of franchise development for Sandström. “The Sandström concept not only provides an extremely user-friendly franchise opportunity that capitalizes on the most branded name in today’s market, but creates an unique shopping experience and caters to a broad range of consumers who are looking for everyday products to make their lives easier and more enjoyable.”

The company’s executive team includes Tim McCarthy, vice president of franchise development, who brings more than 20 years experience in the franchise industry, including positions with Coldstone Creamery, Nordic Track and UPS. In his new position, McCarthy will manage all franchise sales. Additional executives named include Thomas P. DeGarmo, Jr., director of creative services, and Megan L. Helgerson, director of training. DeGarmo, a seasoned graphic designer whose career includes tenures with national corporations including Healthways and Dermacare Laser & Skincare, will head the company’s creative services. Helgerson will manage Sandström’s “As Seen University,” following a successful 10-year career in property management corporate training.

Designed to be one of the most user-friendly franchise opportunities, Sandström offers a truly unique shopping experience, capturing the fun and culture associated with TV-marketed merchandise. Each store will feature a pop impresario design with artistic influences from Andy Warhol and other pop culture art icons to create an upbeat and interactive environment.
