Jim has the organizational experience, the competitive drive, and the sweeping vision to guide Evers joined SBI in August 2003, to direct and to mentor the company’s franchise sales team. In 2005, SBI sold 151 franchises more than double the number awarded in 2004. In February 2006, Jim was named to lead SBI’s 1-800-DryClean brand. “1- 800-DryClean had reached a plateau and I knew if we were going to elevate the brand, we needed to draw on Jim’s extraordinary management, financial, analytical, and sales skills to spark innovation and to improve our service quality,” said McKinnon. “Thanks to Jim’s leadership, 1-800-DryClean moved into the #1 spot in category on Entrepreneur magazine’s 2008 Franchise 500Ò.” “I have several brands on the radar and I’ve already gotten a few calls from industry veterans and serial entrepreneurs who want us to take on their creations,” said Evers. “We’ve charted our goal and cemented our strategies; we’re ready to listen. I’ll talk to anyone. This is going to be fun.”
