Cuppy’s Coffee & More celebrates its Grand Opening in Sugarhill

Atlanta, GA- Cuppy’s Coffee & More has made its way to Georgia and Sugarhill residents are feeling the caffeine rush.  Cuppy’s Coffee is celebrating the Grand Opening of its Sugarhill café on Saturday, September 22.

Cuppy’s Coffee & More has over 40 open stores across the United States and would like to open 30 to 40 additional locations in the Atlanta area over the next five years. The Sugarhill Cuppy’s Coffee is the first location to come to Georgia and the year old coffee franchise has secured additional leases in Kennesaw, Snellville, Newnan and Duluth, Georgia; stores which are all in the construction phase. Cuppy’s Coffee is currently searching for seven additional leases throughout Georgia.

Cuppy’s Coffee specializes in specialty coffee beverages and 100% all natural fruit smoothies.  Sugarhill Cuppy’s Coffee owner Luis Rocafort said, “I am thrilled to introduce the first Cuppy’s Coffee to Georgia. I wanted to bring a fresh concept to the area, and Cuppy’s Coffee offers a fun atmosphere, delicious products and fast service!” Rocafort, who has been in the food service industry for 21 years, plans to open three additional locations in the area. Cuppy’s Coffee is locally owned and operated, giving the new café a real sense of community.

“Our baristas hand-pull each espresso shot as it is ordered, so expect gourmet coffee that is fresh and authentic and smoothies that are sensational,” said Rocafort. Cuppy’s Coffee will give customers a taste of gourmet specialty beverages offering mochas made with rich Ghirardelli syrups and 100% all natural crushed fruit smoothies. Customers can also enjoy a variety of muffins, cookies and cakes baked in-house daily, in addition to deli sandwiches and breakfast items. The price of a regular latte is $2.65.

To celebrate, all coffee beverages will be 25 percent off for the Grand Opening. The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:00 am. Additionally, a professional face painter and clown will be present to add to the festivities, so be sure to bring the children. The nine-foot tall mascot Cuppy will also partake in the celebration.

According to Rocafort, since the soft opening on August 29, Cuppy’s Coffee has developed a solid customer base of people frequenting the store for its delectable lunch items. “Our customers are delighted with the tasty sandwiches on our lunch menu and they are coming back, bringing their friends and families.”

Cuppy’s Coffee of Sugarhill is located at 225 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Suite 101, in the Peachtree Commons Plaza, next to the Gold’s Gym. Store hours are 6:00 am until 7:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.
