Want to learn more about franchising? Go to the Expo!![]() Posted on March 21, 2011 by Stacey Fousse There is a record turnout expected a the 20th Annual International Franchise Expo in D.C. What does this mean for franchisees and franchisors? It means you should be there! There is no better way to learn more about franchising than talking to everyone in person. The International Franchise Expo (IFE) will be held April 1-3 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. This event has been the catalyst for hundreds of franchises opening throughout the past 20 years. As we have all watched many aspects of the economy slow down, franchises continue to strive. Just ask Tom Portesy, President of MFV Expositions, producers of the show: "There are no signs of franchising slowing down right now, which is why there are such vast opportunities for potential investors." Stevie Gator agrees with Tom, now is the time to start your own franchise! Don't let this economy take you down. The franchise industry is currently employing more than 20 million people and contributing more than two trillion to the economic activity in the US. Where is your slice of this pie? Can't make it to this expo, or want to learn more about franchising now? Go to www.franchisegator.com and find a franchise for you.
