Gourmet Pizza Chain Expands in Austin, San Antonio, Houston
Alexandria, VA, — Zpizza, the Southern California based gourmet pizza chain, recently signed three separate multi-unit franchising deals to expand throughout Texas. The three deals, all of which closed over the past three months, yield 11 new restaurants for the Lone Star State in major metro areas such Austin, San Antonio and Sugar Land. Zpizza headquarters is currently targeting Dallas and Houston and expects to close deals in those areas by fall 2006.
“Zpizza corners a new niche in the pizza segment,” says Chris Bright zpizza president. “Customers love our food because we offer fresh, health conscious ingredients—ingredients that make them feel good about eating pizza again. We’re excited about our expansion and we look forward to making zpizza a household name throughout Texas in the near future.”
Collecting customer choice awards from coast to coast in prominent publications such as the Los Angeles Times and Washingtonian magazine, Zpizza continues to impress its nationwide customer base and broaden its status as the premier gourmet pizza restaurant in the industry. By the end of 2006, the restaurant chain will have over 60 locations open nationwide and another 200 in ongoing development in California, Arizona, Nevada, Virginia, D.C., Maryland, North Carolina, Texas, Colorado and Vermont.
The first zpizza location scheduled to open in Texas will be in Sugar Land.
