Small Business Lending Summit
Starting tomorrow, the IFA will host more than 300 attendees to the second ever Small Business Lending Summit in Washington, D.C.

This year’s program will include market research, analysis and new perspectives on franchise lending, finance, and policy. Some of the speakers will include, Don Graves, Executive Director of the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, U.S. Small Business Administrator Karen Mills, and U.S. Comptroller of the Currency Thomas J. Curry.
Finding the Right Franchise
Owning a franchise comes with a number of built in pluses, among them the fact that you get to run your own business in the field that you choose.
If you have the startup capital available, you can get into just about any business you want, from a big, complicated casual dining operation to a major retail store carrying hundreds of thousands of dollars in merchandise. You can still get into the game with a limited budget, though of course your choices are more limited then, too – think home based distribution businesses, small retail shops, and service oriented operations where you are the primary labor supplier.
