A new Bill (H.R.3351) was introduced by Rep. Tim Griffin on November 17, 2011 that would allow veterans who are interested in franchising, to use up to $15,000 in funds from their G.I. Bill to pay for franchise training or education programs.

It May Become Easier to Raise Capital for Small Businesses

Two measures passed through the House on Wednesday that would make it easier for small businesses to sell more shares with potential investors without all the pricey federal registrations rules.
