P.Wallace: It’s a company that’s been in business for a long time. They’ve gone through the growing pains. E. Frutig: And basically all you have to do is follow the program, and they can be as successful as they want to be. K. Colburn: The thing I think I like most about being a ChemDry franchise is the freedom of time. M. Fulcher: It’s freedom. Speaker 6: Flexibility of time. E. Frutig: The freedom to set my hours so I don’t have to work just from 8 to 5. C. Sanders: I work with people everyday and I hear their stories. I understand why they want the flexible schedule, why they want the financial independence and that’s really what ChemDry allows them to do; is to accomplish those goals and to make a difference for their family. P. Wallace: What I like most about being a ChemDry franchise is the sense of accomplishment, the teamwork that I feel with the employees that I have, the other franchisees that I get to work with and make a difference for people, help them to live in a cleaner environment and I feel satisfaction in that. E. Frutig: The most unique thing about the ChemDry is, again, the products that are used. E. Durrant: The goal in the lab and in the Product Development Department is to provide products and processes for our franchises that allow them to be successful. Unknown: I think our biggest advantage that our franchises have over the competitors is the dry time. M. Fulcher: It really is such a competitive advantage, that when that is put into all of our marketing and things like that, it makes it very easy. It sells itself. Unknown: Solutions that we use are cutting edge. The equipment that we use, the technology that we have available to us, is all top of the line and right out on the front. E. Frutig: A lot of patents on both our products, a lot of patents on the processes that we use and equipment that we use so we are very unique. We can sell that uniqueness even though there is a lot of other carpet cleaners out there, we are the only people that can clean the way that we do. P. Wallace: And people can see that there is something different and better. C. Erickson: Anytime you are starting out, you may not know what to do first, you may not know how important it is to start with this particular activity, what impact it would have down the road and we kind of line that up for you. Speaker 7: Our training class consists of five days of pretty rigorous training. It’s technical training, some financial success, it’s operational, and it’s quite a bit of hands-on. R. Salvatore: I think the training class is excellent. There is a lot of hands-on. When I was coming out here I was kind of worried about how to operate the equipment. C. Erickson: Once the initial training is finished, we have a series of webinars, conference calls, personal coaching calls that happen systematically, kind of at the franchisees’ pace. L. Colburn: HRI has a wonderful support group from your business coach to help you set goals and achieve goals and push you to grow. Unknown: If I have a question, I know I can call and speak to somebody pretty much immediately. M. Fulcher: I don’t have that corporate feel when I call. It’s not somebody that’s treating me as a number. They seem to know me by name. Unknown: They do great training. They provide the ability to get with other ChemDry franchisees to learn. Uknown: We are able to talk to one another, see what works for one franchise and be able to apply that to our own franchise. K. Colburn: We like to look at it as a ChemDry family. L. Rice ChemDry has changed my life in too many ways to count. L. Colburn: It’s given me an opportunity to be able to take control of my life. M. Fulcher: ChemDry has changed my life by allowing me to have freedom and the time with my family is the most important thing that I can ask. E. Frutig: It’s given me the freedom to be more involved with my family. P. Wallace: Put kids through college. K. Colburn: It gives us the ability to travel. E. Frutig: To coach my kids in a lot of their activities. P. Wallace: Own a beautiful house. E. Frutig: It has also allowed me to make great friends throughout the country. L. Rice: I’ve met so many tremendous people in the system that have just enriched my life and now, anywhere I travel, I have a free place to stay. P. Wallace: It’s been my life for 30 years, and I’ve had a great life. E. Frutig: If I had to do it all over again and choose a ChemDry franchise, I absolutely would do it without any hesitation.
