Flip Flop Shops Moves Up on Inc. List
Flip Flop Shops, a national retail chain for the hottest and latest styles of flip flops and sandals, has announced their ranking for Inc. Magazine's annual 500 | 5000 of the fastest growing private companies in the US. In 2011, Flip Flop Shops was ranked at 425 and have since then, moved up to number 170 for 2012. The company also ranked high on other lists, including: #4 on Top Atlanta-based companies, #6 on Top Franchise Companies, and #9 on the Top retail companies list.
"In the past two years we've risen almost 1,300 spots on this prestigious list," said Brian Curin, current President of Flip Flop Shops. In 2011, the company was ranked #1469 in 2010 on the Inc. 500 | 5000 list. "This ranking is a testament to the hard work of our franchisees and everyone involved with Flip Flop Shops on the corporate level."
Since 2008, Flip Flop Shops has received more than 10,000 franchise application and more than $16 million in system-wide sales. There are currently more than 60 retail locations and over 100 more in development. The company is on track to meet its goal of over 236 open and/or in development by 2013.
