Moe’s Southwest Grill Names Top Three Contestants
Moe's Southwest Grill, a fast-casual restaurant franchise, has announced the top three Facebook fans for the "Raise the Salsa Bar Contest." The winning contestant will get the chance to have their salsa recipe featured in more than 450 Moe's Southwest Grill restaurants and take home $1,000 in cash.
Each recipe is judged on ingredients, originality, and ease of preparation. "The Moe's community submitted some really creative salsas and selected three delicious and spicy recipes as finalists- it will be tough to determine the winner," said Dan Barash, Executive Chef for Moe's.
Moe's rotates their salsas seasonally, capturing the unique flavors of each season and making each salsa with only the freshest ingredients. In 2011, Moe's began using only the highest quality options available for their guest, this included: rBGH-free, steroid-free, no added preservatives or MSG, and no microwaves.
