Unishippers, a national business services franchise, has announced that the company will be rolling out their new franchise model, without geographic restrictions. The company, having sold all available territories, has modified the original franchise model to allow new and existing franchisees serve business to business clients anywhere in the U.S. Unishippers plans to sell anywhere from six to eight new models in 2012.

"I'm very excited to be able to identify and service industries and customers nationwide in addition to my local market," said Brian Ledin, the first Unishippers national franchisee. "I don't think I could have made a better business decision."

Under the new system, existing franchisees will be able to serve the needs of those previous outside of their market, particularly in rural areas. Kevin Lathrop, President of Unishippers had this to say: "This is exciting news for both entrepreneurs looking to get into the logistics industry and for current franchisees with existing locations as they will also be given the opportunitiy to opt into the new system, if they choose."
