These new stores were awarded during the last quarter of 2011. Sharon DiMinico, founder and CEO of Learning Express Toys, is quoted saying: "Our stores are truly neighborhood stores. Our businesses are growing and our success has been a community effort." The company has not fallen victim to any economic pressures and continues to grow strong all the way into 2012. Learning Express Toys recently teamed up with Universal Studios in a partnership to develop exclusive Curious George products. These kinds of partnerships are one of the many reasons why Learning Express has continued to grow during 2011. The company is still actively looking for franchisees to do business in parts of Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, and the Spokane areas of Washington.
