![]() COIT Predicting Strong Growth for 2012![]() Posted on January 31, 2012 by Ben Baggett COIT, a national supplier of specialty cleaning and restoration services, is predicting franchise growth in 2012, backed by a strong 2011 and new government/bank support for US franchising. The company helped four previous employees start their own business in 2011 and they hope to continue this in 2012 with an increase effort. Bob Kearn, President and CEO of COIT, said the four new franchises owners were all previous COIT employees and the company is "pleased to help make business ownership possible for our hard working employees, and we're also excited to offer franchise opportunities to returning military veterans and other potential owners." Pat Saign, Director of Franchise Development, notes that a number of economic factors will make it easier for those interested in purchasing and running a franchise in 2012. "Banks are loosening up," he notes. New regulations at the IRS allow franchisees to borrow from 401(k) funds without incurring tax penalties. He goes on to say: "The current administration is backing efforts that help returning veterans purchase their own franchises. We're very optimistic about the coming year."
