Ray Griffith, Ace president and CEO is pleased with the company's performance and added, "In addition, we are excited about the introduction of our Clark+Kensington paint and primer, which will help drive increased sales and profitability for our retailers." In addition to the increased sales numbers, Ace also highlighted a decrease in operating expenses by 15.7% as well as an increase in merchandise sales by 0.6% About Ace Hardware For more than 85 years, Ace Hardware has been known as the helpful hardware store in thousands of communities across America. With 4,500 locally owned and operated hardware stores, Ace is the largest hardware cooperative in the industry.
