![]() Service Brands International Announces Leadership Changes for Mr. Handyman, ProTect Painters![]() Posted on October 31, 2011 by Jessica Dees Service Brands International Announces Leadership Changes for Mr. Handyman, ProTect Painters Service Brands International, parent company of such franchises as Mr. Handyman, Molly Maid, 1-800-Dry-Clean, and more, announced leadership changes that will soon affect many of the company's franchise systems. The changes were prompet by the resignation of Todd Recknagel, CEO of Mr. Handyman, who plans to remain with SBI in an advisory position, as well as a partner at Mr. Handyman. "I can't begin to express how wonderful it has been to have spent these years building the Mr. Handyman brand and being an integral part of the growth of the franchise," said Recknagel. The company plans to move Alex Roberts, formerly President of SBI property Protect Painters, into the position of Mr. Handyman President, while backfilling the hole Roberts will leave at Protect Painters with a dual leadership team comprised of Chris Ring as VP of Operations and Training and Anne Nemar as VP of Marketing and Development. "We wish Todd well in his future endeavors and look forward to having him continue to provide input toward Mr. Handyman's strategic direction through his advisory role," said David McKinnon, CEO, Chairman and Co-Founder of SBI. Recknagel plans to leave SBI to pursue other career opportunities, while SBI wishes him all the best in his future career and is confident in the new leadership of Alex Roberts, Chris Ring and Anne Nemar.
