Children’s Lighthouse Offers the Economy a Lesson in How to Thrive in Uncertain Times

Schooling the Recession:
Children's Lighthouse Offers the Economy a Lesson in How to Thrive in Uncertain Times

With new schools in key U.S. markets that aim to grow the company by 70% in the next year, Children's Lighthouse is rapidly expanding as it continues to find a strong audience in the educational childcare industry.

Rather than simply provide daycare for children, Lighthouse gives its franchisees a well-rounded business model which offers a comprehensive curriculum for teaching and training young minds, as well as providing nurturing care.  This comprehensive take on childcare not only offers an excellent service for parents, but has become a hit with scores of entrepreneurs who see the value in the product and the massive potential of the franchise.

"There is an undeniable energy permeating throughout the Children's Lighthouse family, which begins at our home office and extends to our franchise partners, management, teachers and the families we touch everyday," said Patrick Brown, president of Children's Lighthouse Learning Centers. "We're witnessing entrepreneurs pick up on that excitement surrounding our schools and they want to become part of the Children's Lighthouse family."

The core of the Lighthouse curriculum is based on the A Beka curriculum, which combines fun, entertainment and educational content, and has been widely recognized as the leading early-learning curriculum.

Children's Lighthouse currently has 29 centers in operation and an additional 20 in the pipeline, ramping up to launch within the next year.  The franchise program includes the business model and curriculum as well as initial and ongoing training, marketing support and a full suite of business support services designed to make owning and operating a Children's Lighthouse franchise possible for anyone, regardless of previous entrepreneurial or educational experience.
