Honest-1 Auto Care Franchise Drives in New Ownership

Honest-1 Auto Care announced today the plans for President and CEO Jack Keilt to assume majority interest.  Keilt, along with COO Rissy Sutherland, will take over the ownership shares previously held by Gary and Lisa Messer, former chairman and secretary of Honest-1.

The new ownership is expected to be positive move for investors and franchisees, with "more responsive and direct communication with the home office…(and) additional support for the entire franchise system and our valued vendors and suppliers." Said Keilt.

Along with the change in ownership, Sam Shimer and Jack Lapointe will be joining the Honest-1 Board of Directors.  Sam Shimer is a founding partner in SLC Capital Partners, the financier of the new ownership transaction; and Jack Lapointe serves as Chairman of the Board for a commercial cleaning franchisor.

"We are excited about this transition and believe it will position Honest-1 Auto Care for continuous expansion," Keilt added. "In order to support this growth, we are adding regional developers and additional team members to the system to contribute to the growth of the brand."
