Rick Bisio

Rick Bisio was a born entrepreneur. He grew up in Kansas City the son of a hardworking business man who believed that if you want your children to grown up confident and business minded, start a business and put them to work!
Rick's first full time business was at 25 years old, importing a variety of Italian plumbing brands. With no plumbing experience or US contacts he quit his real job with Monsanto and went to work for himself. Eventually he sold this business and spent the next few years teaching and studying. In the early 1990's he was introduced to franchising. It changed his life.
He joined AFC Enterprises - Popeye's Chicken and Biscuits, Church's Chicken, Cinnabon and Seattle's Best Coffee -- as their Director of International business. In the 90's he successfully established these franchise brands in over 30 countries.
In 2002, he started his franchise coaching business and has been helping potential franchise owners to choose the right franchise ever since. Knowing he could only help so many people personally but that this was his passion, Rick started writing a book on choosing the right franchise. The Educated Franchisee was first published in 2008 and is now the #1 best selling franchise book on Amazon. He is excited to be releasing his second book The Franchisee Workbook this Summer.

Logan told the company's recent "National Huddle" gathering here that it took 18 years to reach the first billion dollars in haircuts in 2011, but cited record store openings and sales, along with no store closures last year and continual improvements at all levels, as reasons Sport Clips will reach its second billion-dollar landmark in just three years.
