LearningRx brain training centers are impacting communities around the US, with a results-driven and proven business model. The LearningRx model helps build on nine different learning skills, identifying the strengths of each student and helping improve their results.
We recently spoke with Tanya Mitchell, VP of Research & Development for LearningRx, to discuss her company's business model and why potential franchisees should get excited about their franchise opportunity.
Talk to about the level of support that franchisees receive from corporate during their opening, as well as once their business is off the ground.
We know that support makes or breaks a franchisor, so it's a top priority for us. We have a support team that handles everything from marketing and business questions, to sales conversions; from performance groups between franchisees to day-to-day questions about running the business. During the pre-opening launch, we have a number of materials and checklists to help ensure that everything is handled prior to opening, and we have in-house help with the approximately 90-day opening launch.
We also require new franchisees to complete job shadowing and a 10-day franchise training prior to opening. Because we operate a "helpdesk" for our franchisees, new owners can direct any questions they have to the helpdesk prior to opening. Once the center is open, we offer ongoing support, including a Marketing and Business coach throughout the first year of business, onsite visits at the new center, and quarterly calls covering a wide range of topics.
Do you use any 3rd party companies to gauge franchisee satisfaction? If so, what have you learned from them? Were any steps taken in response to any of the reports?
Our franchisees were recently surveyed by the Franchise Business Review and we are among the Top 50 Franchises across the nation regarding our franchisee satisfaction! We are very proud of this, as we work hard to ensure that our franchisees are well supported and set up for every possibility of success.
Why should a candidate get excited about the opportunity to work with LearningRx?
Right now, there is no other company in the world providing one-on-one brain training. No other educational concept applies to both kids and adults of all ages. And no other company gets the life-changing results we get in lives across the country.
The common thread between all of our franchisees, regardless of background or skills, is that they have a strong desire to make a difference and that is a real, tangible part of what we do on a day-to-day basis. Brain training is expected to explode as an industry in the coming years, and being part of LearningRx will allow individuals to be a part of the "blue ocean strategy" from the beginning.
