How
\nwas your The Physicians Practice S.O.S. Group originally conceived and started?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CEO began independently consulting in
\n1999 with physicians and found that many were overwhelmed by not only trying to
\nmaintain the business side of their practice but also by the multitude of healthcare<\/a> changes. As she helped them streamline and organize their practices,
\nMs. Bates came to be known as Ms. S.O.S. because she was frequently called upon
\nto assist her clients with business crises. Being both consultant and educator
\nduring those years, Ms. Bates heard the cries of numerous physicians expressing
\na dire need for assistance with the many non-medical facets of their practice.
\nIn 2003, knowing she had acquired the breadth of knowledge and experience
\nnecessary to offer physicians a unique service – both a comprehensive business
\nconsulting and an educational package – she created The Physicians Practice
\nS.O.S. Group in Atlanta, Georgia. Now the ever changing healthcare market has a
\nneed for better consultants to help serve the many needs of a medical practice.<\/p>\n

What was your
\noriginal vision for The Physicians Practice S.O.S. Group?<\/strong><\/p>\n

How has that changed
\nover time? When I started the business I was only going to have it be an
\neducational company but after doing seminars I often had participants asking if
\nI could come to there practice to help them out so I began offering the
\nconsulting piece of the business.<\/p>\n

What do you believe is
\nthe single most important factor when choosing a franchise? <\/strong><\/p>\n

How unique it is and whether the market is flooded with
\nother business just like it.<\/p>\n

Why should someone choose The Physicians Practice S.O.S. Group over other similar franchises? <\/strong><\/p>\n

There are no other franchise opportunities like ours; we are
\noffering a unique business to people who want something different in the
\nhealthcare field.<\/p>\n

The ability to help a profession that will always be around.<\/p>\n

\nqualities do you look for in potential franchisees? <\/strong><\/p>\n

The ability to
\ncommunicate and to deliver industry information in a clear concise manner.<\/p>\n

Education, support, marketing material and advertising.<\/p>\n

How do territories
\nwork for your franchisees?   <\/strong><\/p>\n

They will be assigned an area that covers a certain
\npopulation and medical community.<\/p>\n

Why has your the The Physicians Practice S.O.S. Group model been successful? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Every community has a
\nmedical community and every medical community needs our services in some form,
\nwhether it is educational services or practice consulting services.<\/p>\n

Where do you see The Physicians Practice S.O.S. Group in 5 years and 10 years?  <\/strong><\/p>\n

In 5 years I want to have every territory sold and we want
\nto have the premier healthcare consulting company in the country and in 10
\nyears the company would have created a brand that anyone that comes behind us
\nlooks to us for support and advice.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite
\nadvice for new franchisees to help them succeed? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Create a no matter what mind set and take every other option
\noff the table. Winners never quit and quitters never win!<\/p>\n

What would you tell
\npotential franchisees that may be nervous about the financial burdens of
\nstarting a franchise?  <\/strong><\/p>\n

Any business requires a lot of attention when you start it,
\nyou worry about whether you have or need certain things, the suite of manuals,
\nthe startup coach you have and the training help to relieve many of those
\nthings.<\/p>\n

On average, how long
\ndoes it take to start a new franchise from the franchisees point of view? <\/strong><\/p>\n

30-45 days with the help of your start up coach.<\/p>\n

What was your background
\nand experience before founding The Physicians Practice S.O.S. Group? <\/strong><\/p>\n

My Background has been in healthcare<\/a> for 29 years, I worked
\nfor insurance companies and medical practice and am also certified in coding,
\ncompliance and medical office management.<\/p>\n
