\nHaving recently opened his second TYS location in Houston, TX, Noel capitalized
\non\u00a0the\u00a0fact that although\u00a0the\u00a0“fro-yo” market was
\nrapidly growing, few companies were targeting\u00a0the\u00a0South.
\nThe\u00a0young business owner took a gamble by going with a smaller name
\nfranchise and focusing more on customer relations.<\/p>\n

“What
\nsets you apart from\u00a0the\u00a0others is not only being able to offer a
\ngreat product, but an ongoing rapport with your patrons. \u00a0Located in areas
\nthat cater heavily to families and students, we like to know what is going on
\nwith our customers and\u00a0the\u00a0community so that we can offer our
\nsupport.”<\/p>\n

How was The Yogurt Spot originally conceived
\nand started?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

One of my
\nfriends offered me an opportunity to invest in the yogurt franchise<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What was your original vision for The Yogurt
\nSpot and how has that changed over time?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have 2
\nstores.\u00a0 One has been open for a year and
\na half the other just about 3 months.\u00a0 So
\nmy vision for my company is still the same.
\nProvide great customer service, a great product, and continue to reach
\nout to the surrounding community.<\/p>\n

What do you believe is the single most
\nimportant factor when choosing a franchise?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Making sure
\nthat they provide you the necessary support you need to succeed as well as a
\ngreat product to sell and company branding.<\/p>\n

Why should someone choose The Yogurt
\nSpot over other similar franchises?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

They are not
\nas strict as other franchises and let your business try many other options to
\ngrow the business.<\/p>\n

What makes your industry attractive?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

In this day
\nand age families, couples, individuals are more concerned with what they put in
\ntheir body.\u00a0 Yogurt is a very healthy
\nproduct and provides many health benefits for consumers.\u00a0 Also with the state of the economy, everyone
\nis watching their wallet so with self serve shops customers pay for what they
\nwant.<\/p>\n

Why has your franchise model been
\nsuccessful?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

We Work hard
\nand are always willing to try new things to be successful.<\/p>\n

Where do you see The Yogurt Spot in 5
\nyears and 10 years?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Hopefully
\nstill being a prominent player in the yogurt industry.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite advice for new franchisees<\/a> to help them succeed?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Be ready to
\nwork.\u00a0 Owning your own business is not as
\neasy as it seems.<\/p>\n

On average, how long does it take to
\nstart a new Yogurt Spot from the franchisees point of view?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

It takes
\nabout 2 months including training.<\/p>\n

What was your background and
