Finding the Business you want at a Franchise Expo

Deciding to open a business is a big decision!  Before diving in, it is important to do your necessary due diligence.  An important part of the research process is meeting face-to-face with the franchisor.  The fastest, easiest and most economical way to engage in an initial face-to-face conversation is by attending a franchise expo. 

There are 1000's of different franchise opportunities available in hundreds of industries.  By attending a franchise expo you have the opportunity to compare and contrast different opportunities – at various investment levels - all under one roof.   You will have the chance to ask the questions that directly affect your decision and go home with all the information you need to take your next steps. You can save hours of research time, attend free seminars, and source valuable information in an informal, no pressure atmosphere!

When you open a franchise you are in business for yourself, but not by yourself.  You will have the support of a corporate office to assist you in everything from site selection to grand opening to helping grow your business.  It is important to have a good rapport and working relationship with the franchise company.  The first impression you get when you meet the franchisor at the show will help you get a 'feel' as to whether or not this company would be a good fit for you.
