Our company, Matco Tools, has been in the mobile tool business for 58 years. We are a home based business and provide our business partners with an exclusive "List of Calls" with a pre-identified customer base. Our Franchise is unique because we do not have Franchise License, Royalty, and Advertising fees. Support and ongoing personalized training is provided through a dedicated local Matco District Manager with extensive industry experience. Many of our Managers are previous Matco franchisees. We offer a 5-week training program, with 2 weeks at corporate headquarters and 3 weeks 1-on-1 training in the field. All of this backed by professional marketing programs, provided at no charge to help energize your business.
Our team continually seeks new methods to take our business to the next level, through personal meetings with the Matco Distributor Advisory Council (MDAC). These elected representatives come from each of our 86 Districts and communicate with us through 5 Regional Councils. Regional Councils elect Franchisees to sit on the National Council and our Corporate staff meets with the National Council twice a year to discuss solutions to improve our Franchisees' productivity and streamline the way we do business together. Matco Tools' rapid growth and numerous national awards are testimony that our synergistic partnership works.
We believe that Franchisees should be involved in establishing strategic objectives to assure our future success. Our meetings focus Matco Tools on the proper strategic direction that has allowed us to outpace our competitors. Our strategy is comprised of 2 basic tenets. Outstanding Service and Industry leading Innovative New Products! Our Franchise partners must deliver outstanding service in several key ways to develop a loyal customer following. First, in the area of filling all orders quickly and accurately and second, in providing answers to the franchisee/end user questions. These areas are best practices for our team of over 300 dedicated professionals that are your support network. Our reputation as an industry leader in New/Innovative tools, to help the professional mechanic and shop owners, has been taken to the next level with our New/Exclusive Program. Working through our marketing and materials departments, we've been able to identify the most creative suppliers. Together, we have partnered to introduce their latest and most innovative new products through Matco Tools first! That's right... our team got over 160+ New/Exclusive products before any of their competition. That's a competitive difference... and our Franchisees had these products at least 90 days before any other mobile tool company, auto retailer, or wholesale distributor. That helps differentiate Matco Tools and give our Franchisees a competitive edge everyday while generating additional profitability.
