Express Employment Professionals provides human resource solutions and quality staffing services to business around the world. We have been doing this for over a quarter of a century and have grown to include more than 550 employment agencies. Our full line of services can be accessed by both job seekers and employers.

Training and support

The Express Employment Professionals business model is centered on our franchisees. We offer franchises to all entrepreneurs with a vast range of experience. No experience in the staffing or employment industry is necessary. All of our franchisees receive world-class training, service, and support.


Ideal Candidate

The franchisee's role is focused on directing sales activities, ensuring excellent customer service, and developing relationships within the community. Our franchisees enjoy the opportunity of owning their own business, and a life outside of the office with the balance of time to enjoy friends and family. Successful Express franchisees come from diverse backgrounds, including senior business management, sales, finance, communications, marketing, manufacturing, IT, banking, education, and human resources. Generally, we look for:

  • Sales or business aptitude
  • Minimum of five years proven leadership, sales, or sales management
  • Desire to make a difference in your community

Investment Summary

On average in the U.S. Express offices generate $3.5 million in annual sales. We recommend that prospective franchisees have a minimum net worth of $200,000 and the ability to invest $95,500 to $134,500. Financing options are available. Approximately $50,000 in liquid capital is required; however, a combination of cash in bank accounts, stocks, bonds, vested 401(k), IRA, home equity, or a line of credit is acceptable.

The Franchise Research Institute interviewed Express Employment's franchisees in an effort to measure the quality of the franchise relationship. In Franchise Research Institute's studies, they have found that what is often the difference between a strong franchise company and an underperforming one is the strength of the relationship between the franchisees and the franchisors.
