John: Somehow I have an incredible competitive spirit. Everything is in competitive with me, and I have to win.
Anthony: The reason why I chose Liberty is that John was the only CEO in the industry that has forty years of experience. That was important for me, because I spent ten years in corporate America, had no knowledge about the tax industry, and I wanted to make sure that I got involved with an operation that had a proven system, and even more, a proven leader.
John: Many franchisors don't understand that their franchise, their success, is based on how well the franchises do. I think many people think that they're getting money from franchisees. Anthony: So the business is seasonal, and the way that works is most of the business happens January through April. So we work really hard January through April, put in a ton of hours, but come April 17th, we get to reap the rewards. I spend a lot of time with my family, my children.
Anthony R.: A successful franchise owner with Liberty Tax has a few qualities that are instilled in all of us from an early age. The first is determination. We all want to succeed. And the other part is pretty simple. Everyone needs to be coachable and trainable.
