Mega Media Xchange Franchise Information:
Mega Media Xchange® is a retail franchise maintaining its strength by combining several individually proven exchange concepts under one roof. At 5,000 to 7,000 square feet they are the largest stores that buy the majority of the inventory they sell directly from the public. An MMX store meets the expectations of today's value conscious consumers by providing a unique, upscale and innovative environment to not only buy Video Games and related Equipment, Movies, Music and small Electronics at about half the cost of new, but also sell or trade-in the items they are no longer using. Because our merchandise is all pre-owned, our prices are 40-60% less than traditional retail, while our gross margins are generally much higher.
Without a doubt, the single greatest advantage of a Mega Media Xchange® store is our proprietary software. A completely integrated
software solution tying together store operations, back office functions, Internet 
sales and fulfillment, central updates and data analysis. It is the sixth complete
rewrite of the proprietary software that we developed and have been using to operate pre-owned stores since the early 90's.
The actual Video Game Discs, DVD's and CD's in a Mega Media Xchange® are stored behind the counter. Only the Case is merchandised on the floor, greatly reducing shrinkage.
