What Does a SeriousTEFL Franchise Cost?
Interested parties should have at least $5,000 in liquid capital to invest. Franchisees can expect to make a total investment of at least $12,000. They also offer financing as well as a discount for veterans . *
SeriousTEFL Franchise Information:
Teaching English as Second Language is one of the fastest growing global businesses. In recent years it has become mandatory for people interested in teaching abroad that they need to be TEFL Certified even if they have a BA and/or a teaching certificate. Schools in Japan, China, South Korea, Europe etc are now asking for this Certification to be on their resume.
Our company has been in the ESL industry for 10 years. Beginning with our successful English schools throughout Mexico. 5 years ago we expanded to our online ad site seriousteachers.com which has become the Number 1 search site for finding a teaching job at home or abroad with Google and Yahoo. 4 years ago because of the apparent requirement for TEFL Certification we developed the best online course in the industry and then expanded to Franchise locations for existing schools to offer the course in-house or online as well.
Franchise Offer:
In this economy there is going to be an enormous influx of people looking to teach abroad but they will find out quickly that they must be TEFL Certified in order to pursue this path. Our offer to become a Franchisee with us is very simple and straight forward, without any risk or huge investment. As a franchisee you offer our TEFL Course in-house and/or online. You can have the option to have a location which would be needed for in-house training or as our Franchise affiliate to offer it online only where students will register through your exclusive panel on our site or you can choose to offer it both ways. Either option, there is minimal training or investment involved.
Training and Support:
Our training will include taking the course online, recommendations for training location and set-up, and advertising support and guidelines. With the initial investment of $2500 US you will receive our package which will include an In-house manual for both teacher and student as well as 50 Certificates that are exclusively registered to you. The price for re-ordering is the same. We have several locations already including, the Philippines and Vietnam. We also have a school in Hyattsville, Maryland
Ongoing support will include advertising through our site which ranks around 150,000 on Alexa, updates through your exclusive online panel, but most importantly all teachers that graduate will be able to use the Job Placement Services through our sister site, SeriousTeachers.
Profit and Opportunity:
We do not set any maximum for which you can charge offering this course in-house so therefore your gross profit on each student is only minus the Certificate fee of $50 and operating expenses. These courses are charged up to $2000 per student, so you can see that the profit margin is high. As part of your training we do evaluate the area for set-up and give you suggestions on the amount charged. The online course, the profit is set at $135 US per student but you will not have any operating expenses.
Our experience in both the online business and ESL will be the key factor for you to obtain success. ESL is becoming an increasingly profitable sector and offering Certification in this field is a hugely lucrative and necessary segment.
