Provide an overview/ description of your industry. Include reasons why it’s a great industry to start a business in today.  

The Wedding & Events industry is a $60 Billion market.  The average cost of a wedding in the US is $35,329 and continues to grow.  Starting an event services business taps into this growing market and having a unique rental service to stand out from the crowd in your market area is key. How has your industry changed in the last 10 years?  20 years? 

The event service businesses has changed from just a few generic services (photography, catering, flowers) to include more rental services as people and companies strive to make events more unique and memorable.

What trends do you see in your industry over the next 5 years?  Next 10 years?  

Unique services will continue to be in demand and the revenue in the wedding and events category will continue to grow.

What is the biggest concern about your industry that a franchisee candidate should be aware of and investigate? 

The franchisee will need to be comfortable networking with other local market event vendors for a referral base and provide an excellent customer experience at all times to grow the brand locally.

Why do you think your company stands out in the industry? 

Our brand has a strong reputation in event services and we’ve worked with a large number of Fortune 500 brands across the US.  We consistently score high in customer satisfaction and our services are very unique in the event services space.

What makes your franchise/ business opportunity more attractive than your competitor’s? 

Our brand name is very strong in our industry and our proprietary trailer design allows for two service types which increases booking opportunities.

Describe the ideal candidate.  Do you think your requirements are any different than your competitor’s? 

We are looking for candidates that possess many business skills such as sales, marketing, organizational/planning and strong customer service skills.

What’s the strongest skill you require in a candidate?  

Sales and marketing.

Describe the working environment of your franchisees. Is your environment typical of other companies in your industry? 

The typical working environment will be a home office; the service itself is mobile.

Why has your company been successful? 

We’ve been successful by providing unique event rental services and a consistent focus on customer service.

What advice would you give someone interested in buying a franchise in your industry?  

You need to enjoy working with the public and networking with other event professionals in your local market.

How much experience in this industry should a franchisee candidate have should they consider buying a franchise in your industry? 

They can be very experienced in the event services market or they can be new to it.  The skill set is what is important.
