The goal of Charley's Steakery is to be the leader in the industry by establishing a large family of successful franchises. Site Selection

We know how important location is to our success. We will assist you in approving a Charley's location before a commitment is made. We require that the leased space be a minimum of 400-sq. ft. in food courts and 1400 - 2000 sq. ft. for in-line restaurants. Once the Franchise Agreement has been signed, we will agree upon a location and then assist in negotiating the best possible lease.

Ideal locations for Charley's Steakery restaurants include regional shopping malls, airports, university campuses, downtown areas, strip shopping centers and street side sites.

Design and Construction

Through our corporate approved contractors, we assist in planning, designing and building your restaurant. Working with our approved contractors promotes superior cost monitoring and on-time completion.

Experienced franchisees are provided with the opportunity to construct their restaurants with our corporate guidance. We will provide all of the comprehensive information, such as prototype blueprints, equipment lists and sign details that franchisees need to begin construction.


Our greatest strength is our restaurant operations. We begin to build this strength by providing a thorough and intensive three-week training program. This comprehensive program combines both classroom instruction and on-the-job training. It covers basic principles of management, scheduling, food preparation, customer service, sanitation and other necessary details vital to the success of the operation.

Purchasing Support

Charley's has national accounts with some of the largest purveyors in the country. All food and supplies must be purchased through franchisor-approved vendors. All proprietary items, from specifically marinated steak, to logo printed paper supplies will be made available at low contracted prices.

On-Going Support

We never forget that our success depends on the success of our franchisees. Regular visits by Charley's Franchise Business Consultants go well beyond walk-through inspections. We roll up our sleeves and assist you in evaluating all aspects of the business. Our objective is to help you improve sales and profits and also to attain maximum use of your assets. In addition, refresher courses on operations, customer service, inventory control, staff management, and accounting will be held periodically at the corporate headquarters.

Marketing Support

We are firm believers in aggressive and innovative promotions. We will provide you with point-of-sales support, turnkey LSM manual, local store marketing programs, new product promotions, and our Fulfillment Center.

In addition, stores will be promoted through local advertising, regional cooperative advertising and national advertising participating programs.
