Provide an overview/ description of your industry.  Include reasons why it’s a great industry to start a business in today.

 

At Health Atlast we provide Medical, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Massage and Physical Therapy.  Combining traditional Western and Eastern Medicine along with traditional and alternative medicine so that patients get the best customized treatment plan for them.  Health Care industry will always be a great industry because there is always a need to help people and help them increase and optimize their health and function.  It is a great industry since it helps people, there are multiple revenue streams to have a successful Health Atlast clinic and you will be able to receive cash patients, insurance patients, group insurance, medicare, veterans, car accident and workers compensation cases.  You will be able to diversify your revenue sources to not be dependant on market place and payer but have a diverse source of income to have a solid stable foundation for your franchised business.

 

 

How has your industry changed in the last 10 years?  20 years?

 

Healthcare has always had a remaining constant in regards to the need to provide good, caring healthcare to patients.    It has changed regarding electronic health care records, rules, regulations, insurance reimbursement and advancements of technology not to mention the recent pandemic and the need to help eliminate underlying health conditions when they can be with lifestyle, diet, nutrition and activity.  The industry continues to grow, expand and have a great need for Health Atlast clinics.

 

 

What trends do you see in your industry over the next 5 years?  Next 10 years?

 

Increased use of integrated healthcare to provide convenience, efficient, customized concierge care is what is going to be the trend of healthcare while utilizing technology to help self monitoring of health metrics.  More telemedicine will continue to be utilized for specialists around the world to consult and advise for needs and better efficiency and less redundancy of tests, prescriptions and procedures with greater coordination and integration.

 

 

 What is the biggest concern about your industry that a franchisee candidate should be aware of and investigate?

 

There are regulations regarding healthcare marketing, privacy, insurance and standard of care that have to be upheld.

 

 

Why do you think your company stands out in the industry?

 

We are unique in providing comprehensive integrated healthcare like no others that we are aware of in a franchise standard model.

 

 

What makes your franchise/ business opportunity more attractive than your competitor’s?

 

Most healthcare franchises only offer one type of service like just massage or only chiropractic  or are focused on housing for senior homes and do not have all of these disciplines integrated in one place to help provide increased function and optimize health.  

 

 

Describe the ideal candidate.  Do you think your requirements are any different than your competitor’s?

 

Our ideal candidate would be a licensed provider of medical, chiropractic, osteopathy, or physical therapy.  Someone that has owned their own practice for 5 or more years or an entrepreneur who is focused on the purpose of helping people and has an understanding of the healthcare industry.

 

What’s the strongest skill you require in a candidate?

 

Motivated, driven, passionate, high energy, personal, caring, Disciplined and willing to do what it takes to help others and create and have a successful business.

 

 

Describe the working environment of your franchisees (indoors, home office, mobile, etc…).  Is your environment typical of other companies in your industry?

 

Out patient clinical setting.  Either working within the clinic or overseeing the clinic operations.

 

 

Why has your company been successful?

 

Dedication, our purpose and drive to help people.  Ethical standards being high.  Treating our staff and patients like they are our own family.  

 

 

What advice would you give someone interested in buying a franchise in your industry?

 

Due your homework and due diligence.  Make sure you are working with an extremely high ethical group that is diligent about compliance since there are a lot of regulations in healthcare to follow both state and federal.

 

 

How much experience in this industry should a franchisee candidate have should they consider buying a franchise in your industry?

 

At least 5 years would be the bare minimum needed to fully grasp all that it would encompass to run a successful multi-disciplinary healthcare franchise.

 

 

Do you have any questions you would like to add? 

 

I would have a franchisee ask themselves  How would it feel to own a business that truly helps people.  Changes people's lives for the better not only patients but the staff that are able to work and tend to them.  Working in a group and being part of a group is one of the strongest forces in the Universe especially when that group helps others in a positive constructive way.
