Our founder Adrie Groeneweg took note when dozens of his community members in Hull, Iowa were driving to a nearby community just to have pizza. With a keen eye for business and an adventurous spirit, Adrie and his family opened the first Pizza Ranch in Hull in 1981. It wasn’t long before we opened our first franchise location in 1984. And just like that, our beloved franchise was born.
Since then, we’ve made a name for ourselves – today we have over 200 locations in 14 states – but we’ve always aimed to be the ultimate host: inviting, welcoming and genuine. We measure our success by the quality of the relationships we’ve fostered with our guests, team members and franchisees alike. Suffice it to say that while we are constantly improving our recipes and décor, we never skimp on neighborly hospitality either for our guests or our franchisees.
We’ve now been at this for more than 35 years, but it feels like we’re just getting started.
