Through our ongoing commitment to franchisee support, we've more than doubled our field team to help drive property performance. Franchisees will be assigned a Director of Business Development who will visit your property and provide you with a comprehensive education on rate and inventory management, systems maintenance and local sales. In addition, you will be assigned a Franchise Services Manager, who you can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for operational advice and supplies and services.
Understanding that education is a key to success, Ramada offers training programs. Cendant Training Services provides an Owners & General Manager Orientation program, a hands-on training curriculum offering operational, technological, sales and marketing education, and an opportunity to meet with the corporate staff and ask questions. The goal is to empower you with the resources and knowledge you need to run your hotel and provide a positive experience for your guests.
We have raised our minimum QA passing score and will implement a zero-based system called Positive Guest Experience (+GX) in 2005. This program utilizes zero as a perfect score, with no cap on the number of QA points which a property can be assessed. In addition, we've implemented an Electronic Guest Satisfaction Survey to help ensure superior service by allowing properties to see what their guests are saying about them. This also affords the opportunity to quickly develop an improvement plan and share consumer insights with employees.
In order to keep all franchisees abreast of Ramada happenings, we send out a monthly brand mailer containing information on everything from standard system updates to marketing promotions. In addition, our quarterly newsletter, Ramada Today, is published to provide Ramada franchisees with marketing and operating tips. Online you'll find E-Source, Ramada's Intranet site exclusively for franchisees, which provides easy access to your QA evaluations, monthly management reports, and guest survey scores, as well as sales and marketing tips and corporate contact information.

Matching funds from Ramada general marketing funds support the resourceful marketing campaigns of 14 Ramada Management Associations in the US and Canada.
