Training is designed to ensure that each new owner is familiar with the many aspects of managing their store. This experience begins before and continues well after the store's opening. Your trainer will be in contact with you both before and after the store has opened. This training will include a full review of a comprehensive operations manual and related materials designed to aid you in operating your store on a day-to-day basis. Our training program features a combination of online and personal phone training. This format allows our new store owners to train on their own schedule, and have after opening access to the key training modules for future reference--of course your trainer is ALWAYS available to you at any time for needed support.
We create the "Cadillac" of Dollar and Dollar Plus Stores, as we want to make an incredible presentation to your customer base. We supply steel framed gondolas with pegboard backing, beautiful cash counters with impulse feature areas, specialty fixtures, shopping carts and baskets, electronic cash registers and much more. All merchandise counters are six feet tall, and we use eight foot tall slatboard with melamine finish on all interior walls to maximize the display space within your store. All store fixtures are bright white in color for a clean, modern look. We do not supply flooring but when it is needed the landlord will generally provide it at no cost.
Our fixtures for your Dollar or Dollar Plus store are designed to be used on higher priced goods as well, so they can be used for many, many years. We also give you an allowance for the outdoor sign. Once your store is open the real work begins. You are assigned a New Store Coordinator who will remain in very regular contact with you for at minimum the first 90 days of your store’s operation. They will review new merchandise and suppliers, assist you in placing replenishment orders , get you ready for every upcoming season and holiday, evaluate your sales by category, and help source requested items. After the first 90 days, your store will move to a Long Term Coordinators desk, who will provide this same support for the life of your business.
