Q&A with Kelly, Founder of The NanoNet

The NanoNet is a growing industry in the growing market of social coupons and mobile applications. Read this article to learn more about The NanoNet from Kelly, the founder and owner.

How was The NanoNet originally conceived and started?

I am from a large family and have always felt it was very unique that each of us ran our own small business.  When discussing some of the advertising/marketing roadblocks among these small businesses, the Nano Net was born.  We wanted to find a way to support the local economy. While also helping small businesses compete against the Multi-billion dollar marketing  campaigns. The Nano Net is the solution. It will bring small businesses to their most valued demographic, those that live within a 20 mile radius.

What do you believe is the single most important factor when choosing a franchise?

I feel the most important factor is to consider is your initial return on investment. How long it will take to become profitable and the kind of support you will receive along the way.

Why should someone choose your franchise over other similar franchises?

We are at the forefront of technology, and can offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to get in on the ground floor of something big.

What makes your industry attractive?

Small investment, no inventory, can become profitable quickly. All you need is a laptop, and a smartphone to run your own company. No expensive software to purchase.

What types of qualities do you look for in potential franchisees?

Hardworking people with a entreupenurial spirit. Sales background would extremely beneficial.

What do your franchise fees and royalties cover?

The fees will cover Customer Service, and Improvements to the technology, and server costs

Free Viral Commercial/Video included

How do territories work for your franchisees?

The territories based on cities/communities and surrounding zip codes

Why has your franchise model been successful?

It is an easy, affordable marketing solution for small businesses.

What is your favorite advice for new franchisees to help them succeed?

You won't be able to build your city in a day, but no great company can.  As David Bly, a politician from Minnesota, said, "Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you haven't planted." Hard work and dedication are the key to making Nano Net successful. Make a plan including goals for yourself, and stick to it.

What would you tell potential franchisees that may be nervous about the financial burdens of starting a franchise?

There are 5.9 billion mobile subscribers in the world today.

This is the direction that all businesses will need to take their advertising and marketing to. Mobile apps are too expensive and not  feasible for most small businesses. The Nano Net gives them an option to compete against the large chains and franchises on our app  for a small monthly or annual fee.

We have several financing options available. You simply cannot get a better return on your investment in today's economy. You can be profitable in little as a couple of months.

Did you ever wish you could've gotten in on the ground floor of a company like Groupon? Now is your chance to get in on the ground floor of something big?

On average, how long does it take to start a new The NanoNet from the franchisees point of view?

Your Nano Net city or territory can be up and running in 30-60 days.

What was your background and experience before founding this franchise?

My husband and I have owned several successful small businesses. The most challenging side of the business for us was knowing which stream of marketing was working for us, and where to spend our limited marketing budget.  The Nano Net provides customers with instantly updated, trackable information 24 hours a day.

A business can see who has viewed their coupons, what time of day, how many customers have "locked" their deal all accessible from any internet connection. Also, a business can change the offer that is posted on the Nano net as many times a month as they would like. Using our easy to use interface, there is no expensive formatting or having coupons sit out there for months at a time.

Do you have any franchisee testimonials or success stories that you would like to share?

My husband was laid off from his job when the recession hit. We did not know what we were going to do.  A friend of my told me about The Nano Net, so I thought, what do I have to lose by calling? Within a week, I had my territory outlined and everything I needed to be successful. I instantly realized that I had not just started a company, but I had joined a family: The Nano Net family.

The support was amazing.  Within the first month,  I had my city built and 30 businesses signed up.
