Beef 'O' Brady's® themes of Sports, Family, and High Quality Food in a fun, super casual environment, are themes that appeal to markets, and guests, around the world. While the menu may change to accommodate local religious beliefs or dining customs, Beef's® will still be the location in each market where people come in groups, with their families and coworkers, to enjoy a fun time, watch a sporting event and a have great meal.
Since international markets vary greatly in size, income level, and population, Beef's® employs a number of Franchise and Licensing programs designed to accommodate the variances in markets. These programs include both area development and master franchise programs. Generally our single unit business costs are a $35,000 per unit license fee, paid at signing of the agreement, a 5.0% management service fee (based on net turnover), and a 0.5% creative marketing fee. This 0.5% creative marketing fee provides our support in the creation of menu and marketing tools. Our expectation is that the local market partner is providing advertising within the market at a range of 1-4% of overall turnover depending on market concerns, as well as local printing for these items.
While many of our core values will translate "as is" to most markets, menu and supply chain are areas that will require localization. Where ever possible we will work with the market partner to source local ingredients to reduce costs and ensure that our products are the highest quality possible. In some markets our menus will need to remove items such as pork, beef, or alcohol, or highlight more chicken or sea food based dishes, we will work in collaboration to make these important decisions.
