Since students learn at different speeds, the one-size-fits-all approach to learning creates holes and gaps. Gideon’s individualized, self-paced math and reading programs solidify students’ foundations step-by-step and build confidence through mastery. Work-Life Balance - A part-time commitment is all that is required for a full-time reward. Most centers are open 3-4 days per week for several hours. Many franchisees only spend 20-25 hours per week working in the center. If your passion is education and entrepreneurship, Gideon is the right choice!

Mastery Standards - Our superior, step-by-step curriculum and low student to teacher ratio approach ensure each child has confidence in the current skill before advancement. Each booklet has a standard used to determine whether the student has demonstrated mastery for that particular skill.

Exclusive Territory - We give each franchisee an exclusive territory that is a ten minute driving distance (for retail only, non-retail is two minutes) based on a web-based mapping system such as Google Maps. Most of our competitors do not currently offer you this and may place another center nearby.

Gideon's Step-By-Step System

With over 17 years of experience and constant development and more than 500 sequential booklets, Gideon’s research-based curriculum and system is truly best in class. After finding a comfortable starting point, the student moves through each booklet at their own pace. Each booklet has specific mastery standards to determine if the student is ready to continue. If a student needs extra practice to master a topic, Gideon offers the luxury of extra time that a typical school schedule cannot. Gideon students not only have an understanding of concepts, but truly master them creating a solid foundation to learn the next topic.

Training

Our franchisees simply need to be excited to help students and ready to learn the Gideon method. Our franchisees have a variety of backgrounds from educators to engineers. The initial franchisee training covers all aspects to prepare you to run your own center. It requires a comprehensive review of the Gideon curriculum and method. You will have hands-on training in the corporate center with actual students and parents. We also cover all aspects of operations from marketing and gaining new students to class management and accounting. We are always available for any support needed afterwards as well.

Support

Support is only a phone call or email away. Along with our online knowledge base and manuals, the home office is always ready to answer any questions. Trainings are always free and continuously updated for best practices. Quarterly meetings and our private Facebook group are a chance to connect and share with other Gideon owners.

Marketing & Grand Opening

As part of your opening kit package, we will create a digital advertising plan that will be paced based for your desired growth. Also, we will build a personalized webpage for your center linked from the locations section of our main program website and send you packets of your personalized brochures twice a year. We can design any banner, ad, or mailer you may need as well along the way.

We will help you organize your grand opening day events and needs. We can design mailers for you, locate vendors for bounce houses, analyze landlord and city restrictions, and give advice as to what has worked well at past events. We will also be there to help you through the busy day!
