How was Relocation Strategies conceived and started?

Tim Haines originally conceived Relocation Strategies Franchise Model as we began to perfect our unique service offering which filled a large void in the business market. This concept has been proven over a twenty year period based upon our ongoing success.

What do you believe is the single most important factor when choosing a franchise?

The single most important factor is the ability to be successful in the long term, while finding a business that has a true value proposition. You then match that opportunity with previous business experience and career passion.

Why should someone choose Relocation Strategies over other similar franchises?

We have more than 20 years of experience with this business model. Additionally, we provide support and training that helps position our franchisees for long-term viability.

What makes your industry attractive?

Our industry is attractive because there is very little direct competition across the U.S. Also, the relocation industry has a low cost of entry, with a high return on investment.

What qualities do you look for in a potential franchisee?

Potential Franchisees should be sales-focused with the ability to network and develop the relationships in their local areas that will produce revenue driving accounts for their location.

What do your franchise fees and royalties cover?

Franchise Fee's & Royalties cover the initial purchase of the franchise as well as training and development based upon our proven business model. Also included in royalties are marketing, referrals, and basic business infrastructure (email, website, CRM Tool, etc.)

How do territories work for your franchisees?

Relocation Strategies is offering two types of exclusive territories based on city population, business population and overall territory size. There are two different levels of territories (A & B) available at multiple price points.

Where do you see your franchise in 5 years and 10 years?

5 Years: The goal is to have 10-15 locations operating across the country that provide relocation consulting to regional companies of varying sizes and projects.

10 Years: At the ten year mark, we would ideally have locations in the majority of major cities across the US. Each location would provide support for a network of referrals and opportunities. The ultimate goal is to corner the market and become the industry standard as it relates to corporate relocation within every major industry in the US and Fortune 500 companies alike. This would epitomize our company motto: "Changing the way corporate America moves"

What is your favorite advice for new franchisees to help them succeed?

In order to be successful, our franchisees must become an indispensable partner within the local business and economic development community.

On average, how long does it take to start a new franchise from the franchisees point of view?

On average, it takes 2 months from time of purchase.
