How was The Perfect Pizza originally conceived/started?

Dana Taylor who is the owner always wanted to put her family dough recipe into practice and it has been a huge success.

What was the original vision for The Perfect Pizza? How has that changed over time?

Our original vision was a single store, but the pizza was so popular we opened another and then a franchise. Now we feel like the sky is the limit because of our incredible pizza.

 What do you believe is the single most important factor when choosing a franchise?

Sustainability, reasonable rent, low food cost but high quality product, labor costs, and of course, a great product.

Why should someone choose your franchise over other similar franchises?

Because of the passion we have for Perfect Pizza and the extensive training.

What types of qualities do you look for in potential franchisees?

Get up and go, passion and believing in our pizza (They will after they try it).

What do your franchise fees and royalties cover?

The 5% covers support from us and constant assistance with marketing and training.

How do territories work for your franchisees?

We are actively looking for not just franchisees, but people who want to be on the ground floor and become area developers in the region they live in: Partners.

Where do you see The Perfect Pizza in 5 years and 10 years?

In 5 years, I see a growth rate of 6-8 a year and in 10 years, about the same. We are to be very particular about choosing franchisees and find high traffic locations that will assure success.

What is your favorite advice for new franchisees to help them succeed?

Work hard, have passion for the business, and always keep your eye on your labor costs.

What would you tell potential franchisees that may be nervous about the financial burdens of starting a franchise?

Life is about taking chances if you feel comfortable in what you are doing. Also, make sure you have sufficient operating capital while you are building your Perfect Pizza.

On average, how long does it take to start a new franchise from the franchisees point of view?

Three months.

25 years of franchise experience (TCBY, Quizno's and Blimpie's).
