Woodstock grand opening to include live performances, a food truck, face painting and more.

WOODSTOCK, GA – (March 14, 2023) – School of Rock, a leader in performance-based music education, announces the grand opening of a school in Woodstock, GA. The event will take place at 5947 Holly Springs Parkway, suite 308-309, Woodstock, GA from 11 am - 3 pm EST, on Saturday, March 18. The event will include performances by a neighboring School of Rock house band, face painting, a food truck and free demo lessons.

School of Rock Woodstock is owned by Fabiana De Souza. With music being an integral part of her family, Fabiana enrolled her children in the School of Rock program and saw firsthand how much it made a positive impact in their lives. The program helped them learn music, increased their passion and curiosity, and gave them a community and a sense of belonging. After Fabiana's family fell in love with School of Rock they decided to open their first location in West Cobb in 2020. Cherokee County, Georgia, has long been their adopted county for all things entertainment and leisure, so they knew it would be the ideal location for School of Rock Woodstock to open.

"As parents of School of Rock students, we were blown away by the program's ability to engage and inspire our children. We wanted to share this incredible gift of music with as many people as possible, in the engaging and enjoyable way that only School of Rock can provide,” said Fabiana. "This is a safe and welcoming environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can freely express themselves artistically. Everyone has a place here.”

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons, and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.

“School of Rock has already made an impact on students in the surrounding area,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock. “And now, Fabiana is bringing that same positive impact with remarkable opportunities for students in the Cherokee County community to further their music education through School of Rock Woodstock.”
