Former deputy chief passes one-year mark with Mr. Appliance franchise

Retiree Joseph LoSchiavo decided to purchase a Mr. Appliance franchise in October 2012, even though his wife, Linda, was nervous about the late-in-life large investment.

The former Stratford deputy police chief and the former town of Stratford human resource assistant, respectively, had settled into retirement. But, as Linda said, retired life was kind of dull.

“You can only clean up the yard so often,” Linda LoSchiavo said.
