PickUp USA Fitness, based in Irwindale, CA, recently announced the long-awaited arrival of their franchise program. PickUp USA, founded in 2011, is a basketball-focused fitness club that offers traditional gym amenities, like weight rooms and cardio rooms, and also offers specialized services for basketball enthusiasts. These basketball services include group and private basketball training, as well as the company’s main attraction – pickup basketball with referees. The company has been planning its expansion for several years, and just announced the launch of their franchise program.
"It’s been quite a journey," says PickUp USA President and Founder, Jordan Meinster. "We opened our first club in Irwindale several years back. Our goal was to create a gym that provided an unmatched basketball experience for our members, while also providing amenities that you would find at traditional fitness clubs, like weight and cardio equipment. We’ve always put the customers first, and they’ve helped us grow our concept into what it is today."
