NEW ORLEANS — Planet Beach is pleased to announce the promotion and appointment of a new member to a key position within their management team. Planet Beach is committed to building and maintaining a strong and dynamic management team and has announced the promotion of Jessica Matherne to Vice President of Spa Performance.
“Jessica has been a key part of our success, and we are thrilled to promote her to this important position,” said Stephen P. Smith, CEO of Planet Beach. “She joined the corporate team in 2002 and quickly rose to several supervisory and management positions. As we continue to grow our brand, Jessica will be an important asset to help our company reach its goal of changing the way the world rejuvenates and have an automated spa open in every viable community across the globe,” said Smith. In her position as Vice President of Spa Performance, Matherne will be instrumental in positioning Planet Beach as the premier provider of automated spa services around the world by ensuring franchisees have the tools, training and guidance to enhance and maintain member retention and acquisition.

Matherne started her career in one of our storefronts in 1999 and first joined the Planet Beach corporate team in August of 2002 as a Grand Opening Specialist and has since, held several positions within the Spa Performance & Pre Sale Departments. Matherne is excited about her new role with the company and says “I feel my 15+ years of experience, both in the field and as a part of our corporate staff, will help me create and implement the best practices company-wide to improve member retention and member acquisition across our organization. I am extremely grateful and excited about my next step with Planet Beach!”
